Meeting
Meeting starts at 1:00 PM
Dr. Sorto passes out updated QEP groups and agenda.
Dr. Duganne talks about shifting courses, doing research earlier, to tighten up the program. Also, on how to accommodate the greatest number of students. As well as labeling it correctly for the perception of students, this includes course name, acronym and course number.
The assessment group goes over the assessment chart and how the goals and outcomes were established. Feedback is welcomed committee. Group also talks about the data pertaining to undergraduate research to better capture how many students will be in these upcoming courses.
Moorish’s group updates the committee on a new staff position. Shewan shows the layout of the library where the IDEA center is going to be housed.
Kelly went over course objectives and meeting assessment outcomes. Having liaisons for different types of disciplines.
